It's okay to ask for help. You're not supposed to do this alone.
Starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially if you're used to being the strong one. But, healing doesn't mean falling apart--it means letting yourself grow into someone who feels whole.
Here's how to begin:
1. Book a session OR schedule a free consultation -- A 15-minute phone call to see if we're a good fit.
2. Start therapy -- We'll meet regularly (in person or virtually), at a frequency that works for you (weekly, twice a month, or monthly are common patterns) to explore your story and begin the work of healing.
3. Reclaim your life -- Bit by bit, you'll begin to feel more grounded, self-compassionate, and connected to who you truly are.
Here's a bit more about what to expect:
Getting started is simple and designed to put you at ease. When you're ready, you'll begin by selecting a date and time that works for you directly through my online calendar. (This can be for your first session OR a free phone consult).
You'll be asked to leave a credit card on file to hold your appointment--no charges will be made unless we meet or unless otherwise discussed. Once your appointment is confirmed, you'll receive a link to my secure online client portal, where you'll be able to complete your intake documents electronically, ahead of our meeting.
This helps me get to know you a bit before we meet, so we can make the most of our time together. Everything is kept fully confidential and HIPAA-compliant.
You'll also receive directions to my office in Athens.
If you have questions at any point, you're welcome to reach out. I'm here to support you in taking this first step.
